25th Anniversary Gala: Les Jardins de Bagatelle
April 27, 2012
On Friday, April 27, 2012, the National Museum of Women in the Arts (NMWA) will celebrate its 25th Anniversary with Les Jardins de Bagatelle chaired by Jacqueline Badger Mars and Isabel Ernst. Inspired by the museum’s featured exhibition, Royalists to Romantics: French Women Artists from the Louvre, Versailles, and Other French National Collections, this annual black-tie Gala will begin with a viewing of the exhibition, cocktails, and a silent auction in the museum’s galleries followed by dinner and dancing to the music of The Gene Donati Orchestra in the elegant Great Hall. Prior to the event, guests will have the opportunity to bid on the best in travel, accommodations, and luxury goods via NMWA’s online auction, chaired by Karen and Craig Fuller.
The 2012 Spring Gala is the museum’s largest and most important annual fundraising event and the centerpiece of NMWA’s 25th Anniversary year. Proceeds support the exhibitions and programs that make NMWA the leading museum dedicated to celebrating the achievements of women in the visual, performing, and literary arts.
