The Fall Benefit honors remarkable women in the performing arts, and is held annually to support the museum’s educational public programming.

The theme of the 2015 Fall Benefit, held on November 5, was “A Salute to Cole Porter,” featuring Amy Burton and John Musto. Burton, a noted soprano, has performed throughout the world and has appeared with the Metropolitan Opera and the New York City Opera. Pianist John Musto is recognized as “the leading vocal composer of his generation.” Together, they have thrilled audiences across the U.S. and Europe with their programs of French chanson, German kabarett, and the Great American Songbook.  Their recent album of Tin Pan Alley classics, Got a Little Rhythm, has been hailed as delightful.

Stay tuned for details about the 2016 Fall Benefit.

Proceeds from this event support the Shenson Chamber Music Concerts, led by Artistic Director Gilan Tocco Corn, and the museum’s education programming.
