Workshops

Teacher Workshops introduce educators to NMWA, its permanent collection, and its special exhibitions, while providing opportunities for personal enrichment and learning. The workshops prepare teachers to bring their students to the museum and suggest ways to integrate the visual arts, museum exhibitions, and the contributions of women artists into classroom curricula.

The Education Gallery offers changing exhibitions that give background and context for special exhibitions or aspects of our permanent collection. It is often a starting point for school and youth tours. The Education Gallery is also the site of the annual Bridging Communities exhibition of student artwork.
