Women in the Arts is the only magazine in the United States dedicated exclusively to covering the achievements of women in the visual arts as well as in music, theater, film, and literature. Its editorial range is broad, its topics lively and engaging, and its voice aimed at the general public. As a benefit of membership, the magazine keeps NMWA members across the country and around the world informed of museum events and activities.

The National Museum of Women in the Arts is celebrating its 20th Anniversary with a Special Double Issue of Women in the Arts magazine, coming in February 2007.
